The Transition C-CH Neighborhoods Group is one of many Transition C-CH Action Groups and seeks to implement transition action on the neighborhood level in Carrboro and Chapel Hill. We are a subgroup of Transition Carrboro and Chapel Hill. Our actions will eventually be integrated within a comprehensive Energy descent Action Plan that encompasses all sectors of the economy. The ultimate goal is to implement actions so that we may achieve the transition necessary if we are to have a livable future. This group was identified as a needed action group during the Carrboro and Chapel Hill Great Unleashing xx/xx/xxxx. The group was convened for the first time by Sammy Slade on 1/8/2011. More than 25 people came to the first meeting at the Open Eye Cafe.
